Notes:

The majority of services held at the monastery to which the public is invited are Vespers on Saturdays. Sunday Divine Liturgies are served at 10 A.M. (in English) at the St Nicholas Canadian Orthodox Church which is a "Metochion" or "podvoriye" of the monastery. Its address is:

Saint Nicholas Canadian Orthodox Church
4828 - 216 A Street
Langley, B.C. V3A-2N5

You can access the St. Nicholas schedule of services by clicking on this link...

Please remember that Wednesdays and Fridays are fasting days.
Remember 28 November Begins the Nativity Fast and the entire month of December is in the Nativity Fast.

Even though the Feast of the Birth of the Theotokos on 21 September is a major feast day, it falls on a Wednesday, and food must be lenten on that day.

Remember that you will be visiting an Orthodox monastery where a dress code is followed. Females should wear skirts or dresses and have their heads covered during services. Males should not wear shorts or immodest clothing.

Please telephone (604. 826-9336) if you have any questions about the services, or for information about baptisms, etc.

Saturday Vespers are served mainly in English but often with the litanies in Church Slavonic (or Russian).
